Overview
The 9th ETRIA World TRIZFuture Conference is organized in co-operation with the "Politehnica" University of Timisoara and the University of Craiova, in Romania. The conference with the theme "Innovative product design" will take place from November 4th - 6th, 2009 to Timisoara, in Romania. The rationale of the TRIZFuture Conference 2009 is to share and exchange the knowledge of scientific & industrial TRIZ-experts and practitioners worldwide.
During the past decade, TRIZ and Innovative product design have earned reputation of being the best practice of innovation at many organizations worldwide. This led to a growing number of TRIZ research initiatives, development of new practical techniques and tools, and broadening industrial TRIZ applications. To stay aligned with the latest TRIZ developments and to promote co-operation, the conference will provide a global forum for exchanging new ideas and recent achievements by the TRIZ community and enable further advances and collaboration in the field of TRIZ.
Papers are invited from prospective authors from industry, universities and research institutes. Contributing papers can cover theoretical and experimental TRIZ research, educational aspects, tools and techniques, as well as case studies. Both technology and non-technology related papers are welcome. The conference plans academic sessions, practitioner sessions, poster presentations and presentation of TRIZ related software tools.
The conference language is English.
Call for Papers
Please submit an abstract (500 words maximum) of your paper indicating the title, a brief biography and the complete address of the author(s) - before April 15th, 2009 to the address of the organizing committee. The papers will be reviewed by the scientific committee. The accepted papers will be publishing in the Conference Proceedings with ISBN.
In order to give ample space to networking and discussion, it is planned to organize an extended poster session during the whole conference. Kindly inform us if you are interested in presenting your paper also as a poster or only as a poster.
